A client was managing these vital dossiers in a semi-structured SharePoint environment, relying on risky Excel-based registers. We led the end-to-end migration to a structured Engineering Data Warehouse (EDW), creating a single source of truth for safety compliance.
The Challenge
The client's existing approach involved over 700 disparate registers managed in Excel and stored in unstructured SharePoint folders. This fragmentation caused significant challenges:

We didn't just move bad data; we fixed it. We aligned tag data with functional locations and document references, and configured the EDW to support multiple equipment items per tag-a complexity Excel couldn't handle.
